Description
SparkFun SEN-13879 is an HX711 load-cell amplifier and 24-bit ADC breakout. It accepts a four-wire Wheatstone-bridge load cell and communicates with a Raspberry Pi using clock and data lines.
Guide compatibility
The Raspberry Pi smart-scale project requires one HX711 board plus a separate load cell. The board supports 2.7–5V operation.
Before buying: load-cell wire colours are not universal, so confirm the excitation and signal pairs for the selected cell. Header soldering and calibration may be required; the load cell is not included.
