Description
SparkFun SEN-10264 is a 2.2-inch flex sensor whose resistance increases as its active area bends. Its 0.1-inch-spaced leads are suitable for breadboard prototyping.
Guide compatibility
This is the defensible 2.2-inch option for the Raspberry Pi flex-sensor project. It is used with the guide’s separate 10kΩ resistor and ADC input.
Before buying: mount the reinforced base and bend only the active strip. Calibrate the project for this sensor. The 4.5-inch version behaves differently and should remain a separate catalogue product rather than being treated as interchangeable.
