Light Dependent Resistor — LDR (CE09439)

Description

Core Electronics CE09439 is a through-hole light-dependent resistor, specified at approximately 10–20kΩ under 10 lux illumination.

Guide compatibility

This is the optional light sensor for the Raspberry Pi plant-monitor project. Use it in the guide’s voltage divider with a separate 10kΩ resistor and read it through the project’s ADC.

Before buying: an LDR is analogue and cannot be read directly by Raspberry Pi GPIO. The 10kΩ resistor, ADC, breadboard and jumper wires are separate products.
