Jaycar RR0579 is a pack of eight axial, through-hole 2kΩ metal-film resistors rated at 0.5W with 1% tolerance.

Guide compatibility

Raspberry Pi parking sensor: one 2kΩ resistor required.
Raspberry Pi water-tank monitor: one 2kΩ resistor required.
Raspberry Pi thermal camera: required only if adding the optional HC-SR04 sensor.

Before buying: these guides use a 1kΩ and an exact 2kΩ resistor together to reduce the HC-SR04 Echo signal for Raspberry Pi GPIO. The matching 1kΩ resistor is sold separately. This exact 2kΩ part avoids treating 2.2kΩ as equivalent in the catalogue.
