Makerverse CE08685 is a 1kg beam load cell with a four-wire full Wheatstone bridge, recommended 3–12V excitation and an IP65 rating.
Guide compatibility
This is the defensible kitchen-scale default for the Raspberry Pi smart-scale project. Pair it with the separate HX711 amplifier. The listed wiring is red excitation+, black excitation−, green signal+ and white signal−.
Before buying: 1kg is not suitable for heavy platforms. Select a 5–50kg cell for heavier builds and treat each capacity as a separate mechanical design. Correct mounting—one end fixed and the other coupled to the weighing platform—and calibration are essential.
