Description
The PiicoDev Atmospheric Sensor combines temperature, relative humidity and barometric-pressure measurements on a BME280 module. It is the exact sensor named by the Meow Meow Scratch Pi Atmospheric project.
Compatibility
- Connects to Raspberry Pi through the PiicoDev Adapter for Raspberry Pi and a PiicoDev cable.
- Uses I²C address 0x77 by default or 0x76 when the address switch is on, allowing two modules on one bus.
- PiicoDev connectors work with the 3.3 V PiicoDev ecosystem and compatible Qwiic/STEMMA QT devices.
What it measures
The BME280 measures pressure, humidity and temperature. Its temperature reading is useful for environmental compensation and general monitoring; use a dedicated precision sensor where tighter temperature accuracy is required.
Included here: sensor module only. Raspberry Pi, adapter and cable are separate. Remove any protective film over the address switch before changing it.
