Description
The PiicoDev 3-Axis Accelerometer uses an LIS3DH to measure acceleration and tilt and to detect taps and shaking. It is the exact sensor named by the Meow Meow Scratch Pi Tilt Alarm project.
Compatibility
- Connects to Raspberry Pi through the PiicoDev Adapter for Raspberry Pi and a PiicoDev cable.
- Runs at 3.3 V and uses I²C address 0x19 by default or 0x18 with the address switch.
- Selectable ranges of ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8 g and ±16 g support different motion profiles.
- PiicoDev connectors are compatible with Qwiic and STEMMA QT at 3.3 V.
Mount the module firmly in the same orientation used by the software, then establish a baseline after installation. A bare board is not a tamper-resistant or weatherproof alarm sensor by itself.
Included here: accelerometer module only. Adapter, cable and enclosure are separate.
