Description
The PiicoDev Precision Temperature Sensor uses a 16-bit TMP117 and is specified to ±0.1 °C across −20 °C to +50 °C without calibration. It is the exact module named by the Meow Meow Scratch Pi Precision Temp project.
Compatibility
- Connects to Raspberry Pi through the PiicoDev Adapter for Raspberry Pi and a PiicoDev cable.
- Runs on the 3.3 V PiicoDev bus.
- Four selectable I²C addresses, 0x48 through 0x4B, allow up to four modules on one bus.
- PiicoDev connectors are compatible with Qwiic and STEMMA QT at 3.3 V.
Placement matters
The board measures its local temperature. Keep it away from Raspberry Pi processor heat and direct airflow unless that is what you intend to measure; a longer cable helps isolate the sensor.
Included here: sensor module only. It is not a waterproof probe.
