Description
This KY-023 PS2-style joystick provides the two analog axes and centre push switch used by the Meow Meow Scratch Pi Joystick project.
Raspberry Pi setup
- Power the module from the Pi’s 3.3V pin, even though the board may be labelled +5V.
- Connect VRx and VRy to separate ADS1115 analog inputs.
- Connect SW to the documented GPIO input and use the project’s pull-up configuration.
- Never feed a 5V analog output into an ADS1115 that is powered at 3.3V.
Model: KY-023. The ADS1115, breadboard and jumper wires are separate.
