Description
This MPR121 breakout turns up to twelve conductive pads into touch inputs for the Raspberry Pi touch-keypad project.
Project compatibility
- Uses I²C address
0x5Aby default. - Wire VIN to 3.3 V, then SDA, SCL and ground.
- Works with the Adafruit CircuitPython MPR121 library used by the guide.
Before wiring
Electrode shape, lead length, grounding and nearby objects all affect sensitivity. Start with short leads and small foil or copper-tape pads. Header pins may require soldering unless a compatible STEMMA QT cable is used.
