Description
This SW-420 module turns vibration into a digital trigger for the Raspberry Pi vibration-logger project.
Project compatibility
- Operate the module at 3.3 V for direct Raspberry Pi GPIO use.
- Connect DO to GPIO17 and share ground with the Pi.
- The guide treats a LOW digital output as a vibration event.
Before wiring
Module output conventions can vary, so verify the idle and triggered states before relying on logged events. Adjust the onboard potentiometer gradually and mount the module firmly; a loose breadboard or cable can become the vibration source.
